Leo – a powerful conjunction between the planet’s Mercury and Jupiter will occur at 0° cancer in your 12th house. This energy will be felt most strongly between the 8th and the 12th of June. The 12th house is the House of things behind the scenes, the house of self undoing, but it’s also the house of spirituality. Cancer is a very sensitive sign. Jupiter is exalted in Cancer. Jupiter conjunct Mercury joins together the higher philosophical and spiritual mind, which is Jupiter, and the lower logical mind which is Mercury. This energy can best be used in the 12th house by focusing it. But that’s going to be hard to do because Jupiter may expand difficulties or problems that might be haunting you or limiting you. This is an energy of growth and expansion so anything you need to learn about your Deeper Self, or your spirituality should be done now. You might want to write, you might want to talk, you might want to meditate. Do anything that brings you deeper into the recesses of your spirit so that you can release the most powerful healing energies that you have. Jupiter in the 12th house is called the guardian angel, so for the next year you’re going to have Jupiter there, but this is just the beginning. So Focus your mind on what you need to heal in your life, what you need to understand about the depth of your being, and where you want to go from here. This will bring new opportunities but you do have to be aware of them and you do have to be looking for them.
Leo – the second half of the month begins with a double whammy of crazy energy. It starts with a conjunction of Saturn and Neptune and they’ve just gone into Aries. They’re up in the ninth house and that is the house of higher mind, learning, philosophy, religion, things at a distance. These two energies can either be very positive, because Saturn can bring ideas down to earth and Neptune wants to broaden and see every vision. Saturn says no let’s make this practical. That can be very good for Creative work because creative work needs a structure. The problem could be that there is a square to Jupiter. Jupiter is exalted in Cancer and that is in your twelfth house. Jupiter may be saying let me be alone a little bit, let me think about all this, so it’s a very spiritual combination in actuality, but you have to get over the dreaminess. There’s a combination that says I want to expand but I’m not really certain about it, so that would be where the conflict would lie. Jupiter in the 12th house and the sign of Cancer is very sensitive but it also represents an opportunity to make contact with the deeper sense of your intuition and the deeper sense of your spirituality. Just don’t be doing anything crazy. It’s a good time to meditate, practice yoga, and commune with the spirits. At the same time there is a very volatile Square between Mars the God of War (not very friendly) and Uranus the god of Chaos. So what you have to be is self-controlled especially when it deals with financial situations, money, resources, and things of that nature. Also in your career don’t have a fight with the boss or it might hurt you. Uranus can be the sense of genius and new breakthroughs and things of that nature. But usually with this combination we have to be very careful with willfulness and we have to be very careful with people whose egos are not in check. Yes this can be a very exciting beginning to the second half of the month. The third weekend really begins flying. But we do have to be realistic and we do have to find a way to make this energy work for us, not work against us.
